MEMBERSHIP
We welcome human resource professionals and students in related programs to join us in advancing the profession of Human Resource Management. Membership is open to persons actively engaged in a bona fide professional, educational or consulting capacity within Human Resource Management and other professionals as an affiliate member or as a student member.  
 
 QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
There shall be no discrimination in individual memberships because of race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran's status, or any other legally protected class. Membership in the Chapter is neither transferable nor assignable. Membership is held in the individual's name, not an organization with which the member is affiliated. Memberships are not transferable from one person to another. Membership dues cover the calendar year January 1 through December 31. Current members are invoiced in November. Dues will be invoiced and are not payable with submission of application.   
                                                                                         
Professional Member: includes the right to vote or hold an elected or appointed office.  
1.       working primarily in the practice of human resource management or responsible for the administrative direction of the human resource function, either exempt or non-exempt, or
2.       certified by the Human Resource Certification Institute, or
3.       a faculty member holding an assistant, associate or full professor rank in human resource management or any of its specialized functions at an accredited college or university, or
4.       a full-time consultant or attorney actively involved in advising clients on matters relating to the human resource profession.
 
Affiliate Members: does not include the right to vote or hold elected or appointed office.  Persons that do not meet the Professional Membership criteria, but have a bona fide interest in hr management.
Student Members: does not include the right to vote or hold elected or appointed office must be enrolled at a college or university as a full-time undergraduate (12 or more credit hours) or a graduate student (6 or more credit hours) with a bona fide interest in human resources. Must not be employed or working on a full-time basis in an HR position. Student Members pay luncheon dues at a discounted rate.

APPROVAL OF MEMBERSHIPS
Application for membership shall be made in writing on a form provided by the Chapter or by completing the online application. All applications shall be reviewed by the Membership Chair and approved by a majority vote of a quorum the Board of Directors. Prior to approval of membership approval send an e-mail request to administrator@cchrma.org in order to RSVP for a luncheon meeting. Candidates for membership will be notified of their status and their membership shall become effective upon payment of membership dues. Upon approval you will be issued a user name and a password for the website secure access areas. Send payments to CCHRMA and mail to P.O. MEMBERSHIP DUES
Annual membership dues shall be established for the next year by the Board of Directors. A $10.00 discount will be given to CCHRMA members that are also SHRM members at the time their dues are payable. SHRM membership number should be submitted to the Membership Chairperson in order to keep accurate membership records. Send payments to CCHRMA and mail to P.O. Box 9064 Corpus Christi, TX78469.
 
 
NEW MEMBER DUES
New member dues will be billed on an annual basis. Dues paid in the last quarter of the year will be credited as payment for the subsequent year. For example, new member dues paid in October, November or December of a given year will be credited to the following year's annual membership dues. Send payments to CCHRMA and mail to P.O. Professional Membership (Non SHRM member) $60 calendar year
Professional Membership (With SHRM membership) $50.00 calendar year
Student Membership: $35.00 calendar year
Affiliate Membership $100.00 calendar year
